Directions by Car
The City of Cornwall is situated along the McDonald Cartier Freeway (Highway 401) providing direct routes east to Montreal and Quebec City (Quebec), and west to Toronto and Windsor (Ontario). Four exits provide easy access to all points in the city. Highways #138 and #417 provide a direct route to and from Ottawa (Ontario), Canada's Capital. From the United States, you are in Cornwall once you cross the Seaway International Bridge just minutes from Massena, New York.
Directions by Train
Cornwall and the Seaway Valley is located on VIA Rail's main corridor that stretches from Quebec City and Montreal to Toronto and Windsor. We are served with daily VIA Rail passenger service, which stops at the Cornwall VIA Train Station.
Directions by Plane
The region is only 30 minutes from 2 international airports: Ottawa International Airport and Montreal Dorval Airport. Montreal's Mirabel Airport is also within an easy drive. The Cornwall Regional Airport, located just 15 minutes east of Cornwall, offers facilities for small charter aircraft.

Cornwall and the Seaway Valley shares over 100 kilometeres of shoreline with the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Numerous marinas and waterfront restaurants with docking facilities dot the shoreline along the way.
